How To Decoupage Counter Top with Lace

DECOUPAGE WITH LACE
Take a look at this bathroom makeover from Janet S.of Bedford, NH. She moved into her home and with a small budget and big ideas. 
Here is one she wanted to share with us.

She painted her bathroom counter top and decoupaged it with lace.
Great job Janet. Truly a creative use of decoupage!

This is How Janet Decoupaged her counter top
Primed counter top with XIM bonder
Painted counter with Ben Moore Shellburn Buff 2 coats
Cut lace to fit counter top 
Painted 1 coat polyurethane
Laid lace on wet coat, let dry
Painted 5-10 coats of polyurethane, letting it dry between coats.
